Clarity:
Within many gems are internal imperfections which are called inclusions. Some gems such as emerald usually do contain inclusions.
Others such as aquamarine usually do not. In most cases--but not all-- the fewer inclusions the better the stone. We always try to pick
the best rough purchased at the best price to cut for our customers.
GIA uses a TYPE classification system to show that all natural gems do not form in the same way at all times. Generally speaking there
are three types of gems classes.
Type I. Generally these are exceptionally clean & contain no eye visible inclusions as
created by nature. Example: Chrome Tourmaline.
Type II. As these gems form or grow some minor inclusions are present & will be eye visible
as created by nature. Example: Spessartine, Garnet.
Type III. As these gems grow in nature generally eye visible inclusions are readily noticeable.
Example: Rubellite, Emerald.
In the section which shows our cut gems, we will describe the specifics of the gems including variety, hardness, weight, color,
dimensions, and "type".
